Where Did The Pictures Originate?

I responded to a query on GenForum in regard to Hoodenpyl pictures
found in an antique shop in Oregon.  Thanks to Paul Hendrix (no relation
to our lineage),  who had extracted the pictures from the owner of the shop with

permission to seek out relations, we now have these marvelous pictures
to post on our sites.

So, Paul, from myself and our Hoodenpyl cousins, we are
extremely grateful and appreciative.
We are ever anxious to find any tidbit that tells us about our lineage.

ButtonQuestion:  Was the person who received this picture
Mary Alice Hoodenpyl, daughter of John Whitlock and
Mary Elizabeth Bridges Hoodenpyl?
Mary Alice married Oberg M. Olsen in 1913.

Mary Alice Olsen died Feb 1966 and Oberg M. Olsen died Jun 1966.
Is this the family shown on the Norwegian boat (below)?

Oberg Olsen migrated to America in 1900 from Norway.

"I have no idea who this is.  Alice Hoodenpyl had no cousins named
Bill or William.  I just changed my mind.  I looked at some old info
I have and Thomas Jefferson #2 (Jr.) had a son named William.
He would be a cousin to Alice H.  This William Hoodenpyl had no
children.  He could have moved to Weaverville, CA or just lived
there for a short time.  He would also be a cousin to the people
at Signal Mt. Tenn."

Lee Johnson

(written on back)
Lee Johnson
Rainier, Ore.

ButtonQuestion:  Is Lee Johnson a Hoodenpyl relative?
Please check your datebase!

"No idea who this is.  The back of the card says Lee Johnson,
Rainier, Ore.
The person who wrote on the other card (family with all the
girls) was going to Rainier, Ore.  They were at Kalama, Wash.
and had been to a camp meeting in St. Helen, Ore.  St. Helen is
on the Oregon side of the Columbia River just below
Kalama, Wash. and Rainier, Ore is just above Kalama.
I don't know who these people are but suspect they are
of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.  Mary Elizabeth and Alice
both very active in the church.  The church had an Academy at
Laurelwood and this may be the school this person refers to."
