*Elizabeth, probable daughter of John Dilbeck who was in Rutherford Co.
NC by 1 Jan 1800 when he purchased 100 acres on Greens Creek.

Note: It's the belief of this researcher that John Summerhill (Jr.) is the son of John Summerhill who is
listed as head of household on the 1810 Rutherford Co. NC Census. John's wife's name is unknown and deceased
in 1810. The following are listed as residing in the home; one male 26 - 45 (John Sr.), one male 16 - 26 (John Jr.),
one female 16 - 26 and one female under 10.
A John Summerwell? purchased from the Estate of Charles Summerhill (Sr.) in Warren Co. NC 1793.
Was this just another misspelling by a record keeper of the name? I haven't found John (Sr.) after 1810.
Eliza Summerhill who married George Welch 7 Nov 1808 Rutherford Co. NC is probably a sister
of John (Jr.) Jno. Summerhill signed the bond. She and George Welch migrated to White Co. TN.

Ruth C. Summerhill. It's my belief that Mariah was a widow with two daughters,
Amanda & Lucy Ann Young when she married Sanford.
2. William Wilkinson/Wilkerson & (1) Margaret Robbins had 7 children:
Jason J. Franklin, Mary A. E., Sarah A., James Jackson (Twin), John H. (Twin),
George Washington, Caroline Summerhill.
William Wilkinson/Wilkerson & (2) Elizabeth Davenport had no issue.
3. Rachel & Stephen Jordan had 5 children:
Sarah Ann, William James, Mary Jane, Harriet Catherine, Stephen Jefferson Jordan.

The probate records named three surviving children:
Rachal Summerhill Jordan, Sanford Summerhill and William Wilkerson Summerhill.
Rachal, living in Union Parish, LA, signed Power of Attorney to
(brother) Sanford, Dec. 10, 1880. William Wilkerson Summerhill, living in
Nevada Co. AR, signed Power of Attorney to (brother) Sanford, Dec. 14, 1880.
